Daniel Camputaro first thought up the idea of CampUSA in 1987 as a name to put on his music compilations and Commodore 64 software programs that he was writing (he was nine years old at the time). The name, a play on his last name seemed fitting to him.

A few years later, he began to take a concentrated interest in personal computers and liked to build and repair them for family and friends. As his skills became more refined, Daniel thought up the idea of starting a business that centered around information technology. Soon after, Daniel made a calculated decision to focus strongly on working to help further the entire IT industry.

As the "information super-highway" began to take hold in homes around the globe in the mid 1990's, Daniel's business; known as CampUSA Ltd. began to get involved in helping other companies better position themselves for doing business on the internet.

Now known as CampUSA InterActive, Daniel works with a group of skilled people to provide IT excellence and new steps.
